When secular artists cross over to gospel, many give them a timeline, eagerly waiting to see how long they will last in faith. Typically, it is assumed that many of them are looking for a soft landing in the not-so-competitive genre compared to the secular one. Just to mention but a few, we've had Amani, Size 8, Marya, Wahu, Lady Bee, Bamboo, Collo and so on, so fourth. Topping up the list this year, is Majadee, a Kenyan artist based in Germany.

Majadee has had her fair portion in the secular world doing very good music with artists like Dazlah, producers like Totti and even Nigerian artists. For a very long time she's had the calling to cross over, considered it but never made a move. Raised in a christian family, you can call her a pastor's daughter, literally. Do these artistes go gospel in search of fame and money, after all, the gospel industry is perceived to be more lucrative?

In the case of Majadee, the newly anointed gospel minister, It's a big NO, she's not into it for the fame and money. A while back, her faith was put into test, ask me how? (Assuming you already asked, I'm going to tell you how) Her husband got really sick (diagnosis was never disclosed) and being a pastor's daughter, she knew the right 'Person' to turn to, The Almighty Father. So she said,"Oh Lord, I'll heed unto your call if you heal my husband." (Of course, not the actual words but I had to paint that picture for you)

Guess what? She's now a gospel minister, does that answer your question? And to show how dedicated she was to this cause, she deleted her previous YouTube account and opened up a new one. Turning on a new leaf, starting a fresh with the Lord as her savior.  Here's her first ministry dubbed USIKATE TAMAA on YouTube:
