glimpse at the spotlight. And in our new category, ARTIST OF THE WEEK, We're

When he dropped the ALPHA, it did send chills and got people talking in the streets as
the track was on a new level. Most of his fans went on even comparing his
speedy rapping style to KHALIGRAPH JONES
with the possibility that he was faster, And from this song, he got the name ALPHA from his fans, hence the name REAL
A (ALPHA), and yes just in case it sounds exaggerated don’t my word for
it just listen to him rapping and he really is the Alpha with lyrical prowess.
We all love our mothers and to show appreciation and love to his MAMA he did the track dubbed MAMA. This not only won the love of the fans but also more support from his MAMA .and yes really he had outdone himself on MAMA lyrically. Being a youth living in Mombasa, REAL A has had experiences with the ugly side of drug abuse among the youth and in his capacity as an artist, he worked on another masterpiece track called STOP, which he dedicated it to the youths to change their way of living for the better. In doing the track, it placed him in a position to be a counselor to the youths as he was asking them to push themselves into making it in their lives.

Just like most artists, he has not made it big
that music feeds him, but he sees light at the end of the tunnel although he
says money it’s not his motivation, but just part of the rewards and parks that
come with music. He looks up to the American trap icon FUTURE and he seeing
himself on his level soon, he believes in the mantra work hard until your
mentors are your competition. The journey hasn’t been smooth for him, of course
he has been played and conned by people who pretend to want to help him. But he
is positive and doesn’t want to focus on the negative side and in his words,
“that shit happens almost to everybody, you know that.”
Apart from the up and downs he has had major
breakthroughs and he has performed in the YOUTH MUST CHANGE CONCERT AT MAMA NGINA
also at CELEBRITYTHURSDAY which is hosted by DJ LENIUM weekly. But all
in all One of his biggest moments was, COAST HIP HOP ARENA (Acha Gun Shika Mic movement),
which called him to perform STOP dubbed track to communicate to the youths
through the track to change the ways from drugs and daily crime.
