So sad when a parent toils and invests in a child only to receive a lifeless body instead of a degree. Some of these slain students are the only hope to a better life. Insecurity has been rampant in Juja, where Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology main campus is situated. Last night, in between 7pm and 8 pm,  two ladies were mugged around Seagull, it is alleged that Tabitha resisted and thus stabbed.

Tabitha was rushed to JKUAT hospital where she was pronounced dead, presumably from excessive loss of blood. Now comrades have united to address this societal ill once again and planned a peaceful demonstration with notice given to relevant parties.

Following this incident, several parties have received backlashes from students, alumni, administration and even residents. Demanding a response from the CS of Education, the police, the administration and the student council. Some have gone an extra mile to highlight the danger zones:
• From High Point to Sewage
• FromUchumi to Juja City Mall
• From Kengo Gate to Oasis
• From Alkings Wholesale Distributors to Happy Markets

As they push for security in Juja, may their cries bear fruits. Rest In Peace Thabitha.
