'MCs read through an occasion's programme, a hypeman brings life to an occasion/event. ' This statement cracked me up, it just had to be my opening line. Apparently, hypeman is an emerging necessity in the showbiz industry slowly creeping in the coastal region of Kenya. Originally from the carebian islands, well received in the capital city of Kenya. Due to public demand, Hypemasta Kavalier has become a brand and a household name in the Kenyan Entertainment industry.
Remember that time Rick Ross was in town? How it came to be (hata mi pia sijui) but this dude trended as a look alike to the infamous American rapper.
Then came Safaricom's Twaweza, where he was crowned as the best hypeman in Coast and headlined a fully crowded concert that saw 10,000 fans in attendance.
Hypemasta Kavalier has also been famous for his prowess and energetic Hypes and moves on stage, he compliments well with his looks, being bearded and has a taste on originals satin/silk flashy shirts that makes him the best looking and smart celebrity in Kenya. He also won the best Hypemasta for the Dubai's branch events called Innov8 Diani Festival that hosted Harmonize from Tanzania.
Hypemasta Kavalier hosted the festival in Diani and all fans voted him in. Fans love his work and talent because he is the only Hypeman in Coastal Kenya. Hypemasta Kavalier has worked with various event companies, Big time celebrities like International Major Lazor who performed in Diani Beach, Harmonize from Tanzania, and various Kenyan celebrities/musicians including Redsan, Nyashiski, Susumila, King Kaka, Otile Brown, etc

On the 22nd of December at Club Lambada Mtwapa, Hypemasta Kavalier scoped an award for HYPEMAN OF THE YEAR in the KENYAN COAST MUSIC AWARDS hosted by Beyonce Julia. It's at this point that he realised he was a notch higher after one of the contestants in his category went on stage and blabbered certain words while he was giving a vote of thanks. This is where I got to know the job task of an MC; to read through an occassion's programme (ha ha)
A six year investment on being a hypeman shows how much passion he has on this emerging act and gets really disappointed when he sees PROGRAMME READERS challenging his efforts. Kavalier is also saddened by the alleged 'BEST MCs' in the coastal region going on stage with vests, is this a brand that one would want around his/her event? People who can't even invest on their attire and wonder why Kavalier is the best there is!
Hypemasta Kavalier is very energetic, knows how to engage crowd, entertains with great performances and one of the best dressed celebrities in the region. Fans love him so much because they all look up to him as a youth role model and a household name to watch out for this year, 2019! He has lotsa projects lined up for this year, one being a training for a hype talent. He wants to mentor and bring up more energetic Hypemastas to spice up the entertainment industry in Concerts. He is rated the best Hypeman.
