I heard if 25% of people can relate to a word that's not formerly an English word, it automatically qualifies to be an English word and gets into the dictionary. Welcome to the 21st century, where you can typically find any native word in the urban dictionary as though it were an English word. Mafisilette derived from the swahili word FISI for hyena (known for it's greedy nature) is the feminine version of a lustful person. (English 101, I think I have a teaching talent - if there exists such a talent)
There's a new lady in town (yes, iyo town yenye uko sai, u just never know, she might be coming there next) and she wants to conquer it all. She has been all over Nairobi (name all corners, amefika. Mi ningetaja but Nairobi sipajui) and when she exhausted almost all joints, she went to Nakuru (Sema 'Oooh Maa Gaaad) and now she wants Mombasa.
MEET SHEENAH
Sheenah is one of the most promising female artist from Jumbo Sound Recordz. Having ventured in various forms of art including; set book acting, TV and commercial modeling and informal vocal presentation, Sheenah is ready and set to conquer the Music Industry. Her mellow voice coupled with her bubbly personality makes her the most approachable artist of our time, and the sweet rnb-zouk fused music gives a completely new musical experience. Her first debut song was MAFISILETTE then akavuta pumzi kidogo akarudi na COBRA. These two songs gave her the spotlight and ever since they were released, Sheenah has been to USIU Radio, Roxy Lounge, Ruben Fm, Nakuru's Hero 99.0Fm, The Buzz Y254, Machakos' Club Euphoria, Fame 254 at Club Seven, Mr And Miss Untamed The Red Carpet Event at Park Place and recently at Mombasa's only CELEBRITY THURSDAY hosted by Dj Lenium.
Sheenah is a hardworking individual who juggles between work, school and music and has already recorded more than 5 singles at Jumbosound Recordz.
From her debut single, Mafisilette that did rounds in the media, she is now back with her second single, "Cobra", addressing the issue of infidelity in relationship, and it is already available on YouTube and your favorite media stations. Mafisilette and Cobra are in hypertext (The coloured fonts at the top, click on them for a direct link to YouTube)
That's not all she's got to offer, this April, my sources say that she'll be having a media tour in Mombasa (Wa Mombasa mwakimbia Nairobi, wa Nairobi yuwaja Mombasa) and to top it all up she has already been booked to two events #StopSignParty that's set to happen on the 21st of April at Garden Park Mtwapa hosted by Sultan of Tv Series MOYO and YOUNG & ALIVE CONCERT on the 28th of April at Swahili Pot Hub.
